BEHIND THE BRAND
CARMEN CHERMENSCHI
The Story of the Beginning.
I know precisely what multiple attempts at becoming Cabin Crew feel like. I endured the uncertainty, the rejection, and the endless search for clear answers. In my time, there wasnât nearly as much information about this career as there is today. I desperately needed someone to guide me through the process, but I felt utterly alone.
I realized early on that if achieving my dream required time and resources, I would invest them, no matter the price. But every âNoâ felt like a final door closing. I spent years trying to decode the recruiterâs secret formula without the resources available nowadays.
That five-attempt journey – five high-pressure assessments, dual operational roles as Cabin Crew at Ryanair and Check-in Agent at easyJet and other leading airlines, plus mastering four languages – taught me something crucial. I never considered giving up because, according to my principles, Iâve never left my dreams on a shelf. Every rejection became a lesson for the next Assessment Day.
I learned firsthand a fundamental truth: recruiters arenât there to reject you. Recruiters are looking for someone who understands what it means to be a professional in this role.Â
My
MISSION
One day, six years ago, I decided to share everything Iâd learned on social media. The response was overwhelming. Despite posting in Italian, people from around the world reached out to ask how I made it and how they could replicate it. Thatâs when my purpose became clear: to help aspiring flight attendants achieve their dreams without wasting years in endless interviews, as I had.
I created Surprising Aviation to give you the insider knowledge, proven strategies, and confidence that took me five attempts to build. My system is designed to provide the clarity you need to earn your wings on your first attempt, or at least help you succeed now, not years from now.
You donât need to figure this out alone. Iâve walked this path, and I know exactly what it takes.
I took the long road, so you donât have to.
